These robust precast reinforced concrete channels are designed to current British standards. Each channel unit is cast with two lifting sockets in the top for easy lifting and fitting, they can be quickly laid on to a compact hardcore bed. The channels also have a rebate cast into each end for sealing with flexible mastic this is to accommodate movement in the joints during installation and settlement to give a long and leak free life. 
Our channels are available in three different sizes, one of which has outside dimensions of 1524mm wide, 1150mm deep and 2440mm long with a wall thickness of 125mm. The middle size channel has outside dimensions of 1100mm wide, 1150mm deep and 2440mm long with a wall thickness of 125mm, the smaller channel has outside dimensions of 710mm wide, 585mm deep and 2440mm long with a wall thickness of 125mm.
End units, tees and corner units are available for both sizes of channel, we are also able to provide solid concrete (or galvanised steel) covers and slats to suit the channels if required.
